Cookie Dough Brownies
Ingredients for brownie:
2 cups chocolate chips
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/4 cup canola oil
3 large eggs
1 cup flour
1/4 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp baking soda
Ingredients for Cookie Dough:
1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks), softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
4 tablespoons milk
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
2/3 cup chocolate chips
Directions for brownie:
Preheat oven to 350' F. Spray 13x9 pan w/ non-stick spray.
Melt 1 cup chocolate chips, butter and oil in a large saucepan over low heat; stir until smooth. Remove from heat. Stir in eggs one at a time. Stir in dry ingredients. Stir in remaining 1 cup chocolate chips. Spread into pan.
Bake 20-22 minutes. Cool completely (You may want to freeze it after it is mostly cooled off)
Directions for Cookie Dough:
Cream butter and sugars, add milk and combine. Add flour and salt, stir until mixed. Add chocolate chips.
Spread cookie dough over cooled brownie. Put in refridgerator until firm. Cut, serve, and enjoy!
You can also melt 1/2 cup chocolate chips w/ 1 tsp shortening and drizzle over the top for a pretty presentation.
