Apple pancake
Ingredients:
1/3 cup syrup
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 butter
2 apples, cored and sliced
1 egg
1 cup milk
1 Tbls canola oil
1 1/4 cup flour
2 Tbls sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400' F. Combine syrup, brown sugar, and butter in 9 inch round baking pan. Put in oven for about 5 minutes until butter melts. Remove and stir to dissolve sugar.
Arrange apple slices over syrup mixture in the pan.
Mix together egg, milk and oil. Add remaining dry ingredients, stir until smooth. Pour batter over apples.
Bake 30-25 minutes. Remove from oven and turn out onto a serving platter.
