Life has been crazy. We just bought a new house and that has been taking up a lot of time. For a week or two I didn't do a menu for my family and I felt the repercussions! It is amazing how the 30 minutes of planning my meals truly does take stress out of my life. I got right back on track (after a minor meltdown...and some chocolate.)
My words of wisdom for today: Even though it takes time and dedication to sit down and make a menu and shopping list, it is time that is paid back double. I spent less time looking in the fridge wondering what to fix each night, spent less on food, and was able to feed my family more nutritious dinners. Have you tried it for a week or two? I bet you will love it if you give it a shot.
